usually love this brand

I've been using this trimmer for nearly 40 years. I love them, obviously. However the last one I purchased was terrible. It would not glide over the skin and I felt like it was pulling the hair. Also the edges of the blade were extremely sharp. It was replaced by my distributor and the new trimmer was better. I guess I just got a dud.

I miss my old trimmer

I used the andis styliner 2 for years. Never had a problem with them but they were discontinued. This is my second attempt at finding a replacement. I tried a different one that didn’t even a year when it took a ****. So I tried this. I opened it and the blades didn’t want to work. Lubed it up and they started working after a bit. Ok fine. Never had this issue before with a clipper but maybe it’s a freak thing. But no. They keep locking up on me. I’ve been really frustrated with these.
