The tension spring goes next to the quad blade drive and the blade bracket. This item is made of metal and is available as an individual replacement part. It is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with clippers and detachable blades made by Andis. You may need a screwdriver and a set of pliers when replacing this item. It will need to be replaced if it breaks or bends.
